Canadian Real Estate Association
The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) is one of Canada's largest single-industry trade associations. Their membership includes more than 100,000 real estate brokers, agents and salespeople, working through 100 real estate boards and associations across Canada.
Not just anyone can call themself a REALTOR®. To do so, real estate professionals must either be direct members of their association or be members of both their local real estate board and CREA, depending on the province. As well, they must abide by the ethical standards laid out in the REALTOR® Code. -
Real Estate Council of Ontario
The Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) is a self-managed, not-for-profit corporation, responsible for administering the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act, 2002 (REBBA 2002) and associated regulations on behalf of the provincial government and protecting the public interest through a fair, safe and informed marketplace.

Ontario Real Estate Association
The Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) represents more than 42,000 brokers and salespeople who are members of the province's real estate boards. The association's many functions include administering pre-registration, articling and broker courses within the registration curriculum (as designate for the Real Estate Council of Ontario).OREA continually strives to improve the image of Realtors by enhancing educational and professional standards.
